Testimonials

Former campers and current pharmacy students share their thoughts on KU Pharmacy Summer Camp.

Stephanie Michel, KU Pharmacy Class of 2022

"I attended pharmacy camp the summer before my senior year of high school, and it was a blast! I thought I knew what pharmacy was like, but this camp showed me all the different areas pharmacists practice in and the cool things they do each day. After going to this camp, I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in pharmacy! I would recommend any high school students interested in pharmacy to go to pharmacy camp!”

Laura Loyet, KU Pharmacy Class of 2022

“Pharmacy camp was a wonderful introduction into the profession of pharmacy. Not only did I make lifelong friends and professional connections, but also my passion for pharmacy was ignited. I highly recommend attending the camp as I know you will find great experiences awaiting you! ”

Christian Williams, KU Pharmacy Class of 2022 president

“During the KU School of Pharmacy Summer Camp, I was able to participate in unique, hands-on experiences that allowed me to see things that pharmacists see in their day-to-day work. I was also able to learn about unique career options in pharmacy that I didn’t even know existed. Meeting pharmacists and student pharmacists with unique experiences allowed me to solidify my decision to pursue a career in pharmacy and now, several years later, I am seeing my dreams come true and fulfilling my passions every day.”

Rachel Lamb, KU Pharmacy Class of 2022

“I really enjoyed camp because it gave me a peek into what pharmacy school and a career in pharmacy would look like. After attending, I was certain I wanted to pursue pharmacy. It's what solidified my decision!”
