Residence Hall Information

Residence Hall

The residence hall for this year’s camp is still to be determined. We will provide an update as soon as the information becomes available.

Male and female campers will be housed in opposing wings of the same floor of the hall. Campers will be assigned two to a room. A common bathroom is located on each wing of the floor. Camp participants may not visit the rooms or living areas of the opposite sex. Public areas of the residence halls (e.g., main lobby, cafeteria, recreation rooms, etc.) are open to all campers and KU students.

Campers from other KU summer camps will also stay in the residence hall we are assigned to during this time.

Camp Check-In and Check-out

Campers will be contacted via email with specific check-in time, date and place.

Participants will check out of their rooms on designated check-out mornings. Counselors and residence hall staff will inspect each room for damage and collect room keys. A formal check-out inspection is also required if a camper is required to leave camp early. All rooms should be clean and orderly or additional charges could be assessed. A $50 charge will be assessed for lost keys or return of room keys after the specifically designated checkout time.

Roommates

All campers will be assigned a roommate who is also attending Pharmacy Summer Camp.

Camp Counselors

Current School of Pharmacy students serve as summer camp counselors and will stay in the residence hall with campers. Student counselors and the camp program coordinator are always available for camper assistance.
